The St Werburghs Arts Trail 2011 will be on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September Thank you to everybody who took part in last year's trail - visitors, exhibitors and performers.

The site will gradually be updated as information becomes available. Artist's registration is now open, see Here For Artists link for details - there is a reduced fee for those registering before 1st May.

St Werburghs Arts Trail Saturday 26th / Sunday 27th September 2009. 11-5pm

The fourth St Werburghs Arts Tail will be host to over 50 artists in a variety of community and outdoor venues, as well as private homes. You will also be able to enjoy music in various settings across St Werburghs.

The trail will include sculpture, photography, painting, jewellery, ceramics, woodcraft and children�s art. Artwork will be on display in St Werburghs Community Centre, pubs and local shops, the City Farm, Mina Road Park and allotments.

Refreshments will be available at the Community Centre, Botany Studios and the City Farm cafe.

Every house in St Werburghs will have a brochure delivered and they can also be picked up from local shops and pubs.

Look out for the paint pots outside each venue and signs to the more out of the way locations over the weekend. Entry to all venues is free.

St Werburghs Arts Trail Wednesday 24 September 2008

This years Arts trail offers a packed weekend of art in various venues around St Werburghs as well as music, children's workshops, storytelling, a Jiu jitsu demonstration and Hip Hop street dance performance. As well as artists opening their own homes, Botany Studios have 6 artists showing their diverse range of art. There is art on local allotments, in the park, in Better Foods Organic Supermarket and at The City Farm and Boiling Wells Lane site. There is an open-air cinema on Saturday evening and pony and trap rides to Boiling Wells and back.

Local choirs, Gasworks singers and Junction 3 will be singing at the community centre as well as the Easton Acapella Group who will be wandering around St Werburghs with their songs after appearing at the community centre. More music can be heard at Tewkesbury Avenue throughout the weekend with local musicians. There will be 2 exhibitions of children's art at St Werburghs Primary School and Parkway Methodist Church.

There will be plenty of places to refuel during the weekend. Mina Road Cooperative will be providing tea and cake, Better Foods and City Farm caf� will provide their usual delicious range of meals and snacks as well as refreshments at the Primary School and drinks and cake at the Community Centre. Brochures giving details of all the venues and events can be picked up from the venues, local shops and community centre, just look out for the paint-pots outside each venue.
