Please join us for the Lynmouth Road allotments demo on Wednesday at Grant Thornton

The peasants are revolting! Welly power!

• When: Wednesday 18th September from 4.30pm (to 5.30pm)

• Where: outside liquidator Grant Thornton’s Bristol office at the corner of
Victoria St and St Thomas St: Hartwell House, 55-61 Victoria St, Redcliffe,
Bristol BS1 6FT.

• Car parks at The Galleries or by Marriott Hotel. Easy walk from centre. Easy cycle from St Werburghs

• What: As big as possible a gathering of allotment holders and supporters outside Grant Thornton to express our demand for them to accept the BCC/community bid to save the allotments. We need banners, placards and people to be vocal:
‘Grant Thornton/Nigel Morrison/Matthew Wortley - Accept the council bid’
‘We’re not anarchists – we’re allotment holders’
‘Save the Lynmouth Road allotments’
‘We’re Lynmouth Rd allotments – we shall not be moved’

• Why: Because there will only be a week before the auction, because they have already had a generous offer from the council, because we now need maximum publicity to put the pressure on

• Details: Please everyone wear wellies! Get those festival or allotment boots out! Ideally
jeans/dungarees, checked shirt, head gear – look like a gardener! This is a non- violent, no damage protest. Keep yourselves safe, careful of traffic. We need musicians, a filmmaker. On day we’d like a few people to steward to keep people safe off the road- we will have yellow tops.
